Cereno Scientific to engage US and international investors at H.C. Wainwright 28th Annual Global Investment Conference in New York

CRNO BPress release09.09.2026, 07.30

Cereno Scientific (Nasdaq First North: CRNO B), an innovative biotech pioneering treatments to enhance and extend life for people with rare cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases, today announced that CEO Sten R. Sörensen will participate at the H.C. Wainwright 28th Annual Global Investment Conference, taking place September 14–16, 2026, at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel in New York City.

Cereno Scientific will engage in in-person one-on-one meetings with US and international investors and financial-market participants during the conference. A company presentation has been recorded in advance and will be available virtually through the conference platform and Cereno Scientific’s website in connection with the conference.

The event forms part of Cereno’s ongoing international investor relations activities aimed at broadening awareness of the Company, expanding engagement with new investor audiences and, over time, strengthening and diversifying its shareholder base.

Cereno enters the conference at an important stage of clinical development, with multiple potential value drivers across its pipeline. The global Phase IIb EPIMODE trial of lead drug candidate CS1 in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is underway and screening patients, while CS014 is approaching topline results from its FDA-aligned Phase I pharmacokinetic (PK) bridging study, anticipated in Q3 2026. Together, Cereno’s two clinical-stage HDAC inhibitor programs provide a differentiated approach based on epigenetic modulation, targeting underlying mechanisms of disease progression in rare cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases.

“Expanding our engagement with US and international investors is an important part of building Cereno for its next stage of development. We are introducing the Company to new investor audiences at a time when our pipeline is becoming increasingly mature, with EPIMODE in active clinical execution and CS014 approaching an important near-term readout. This gives us a strong and increasingly tangible investment case to communicate. Our participation at H.C. Wainwright builds on the international investor activities we have undertaken during the year as we work to broaden understanding of Cereno and, over time, strengthen and diversify our shareholder base,” said Sten R. Sörensen, CEO of Cereno Scientific.

The recorded presentation will provide an update on Cereno Scientific’s pipeline and development strategy, including the ongoing Phase IIb EPIMODE trial of CS1 in PAH and the advancement of CS014 toward Phase IIb development in pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD). It will also highlight upcoming milestones and the broader value potential of Cereno’s pipeline.

The H.C. Wainwright Annual Global Investment Conference brings together public companies, institutional investors, private equity and venture capital firms, industry executives and other financial-market participants for company presentations, one-on-one meetings and networking.

About Cereno Scientific AB
Cereno Scientific is pioneering treatments to enhance and extend life. The company’s innovative pipeline offers disease-modifying drug candidates to empower people suffering from rare cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases to live life to the fullest.

Lead candidate CS1 is an HDAC inhibitor that works through epigenetic modulation and represents a novel therapeutic approach by targeting the underlying mechanisms of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). CS1 is a well-tolerated oral therapy with a favorable safety profile that has shown encouraging efficacy signals in a Phase IIa trial in patients with PAH, including improvements in right heart function, functional class, risk score and patient quality of life, with early signs consistent with reverse vascular remodeling. An Expanded Access Program confirmed CS1 to be well-tolerated with a favorable safety profile over 12 months of treatment and showed that a majority of patients completing treatment maintained or improved clinical status. CS1 is currently being evaluated in EPIMODE, a global, placebo-controlled Phase IIb trial in PAH. CS014 is a new chemical entity and HDAC inhibitor with a multimodal mechanism of action as an epigenetic modulator having the potential to address the underlying pathophysiology of a range of cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases with high unmet needs. CS014 showed a favorable safety and tolerability profile in Phase I, and is being advanced through a streamlined, FDA-aligned pathway toward Phase IIb in pulmonary hypertension associated with interstitial lung disease (PH-ILD). Cereno Scientific is also advancing the preclinical program CS585, an oral, highly potent and selective prostacyclin (IP) receptor agonist shown to prevent thrombosis without increased bleeding risk, currently being evaluated in antiphospholipid syndrome (APS).

The Company is headquartered in GoCo Health Innovation City in Gothenburg, Sweden, and has a US subsidiary, Cereno Scientific Inc., located in Kendall Square, Boston. Cereno Scientific is listed on the Nasdaq First North (CRNO B). The Company’s Certified Adviser is DNB Carnegie Investment Bank AB, certifiedadviser@carnegie.se.
