Castellum ranked as one of the world’s 100 most sustainable companies

Castellum

Castellum has been named one of the world’s 100 most sustainable companies in the Global 100. Castellum is one of two Swedish companies on the list, which was released at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

The Global 100 comprises public companies with revenue over USD 1 Bn. Over 8,000 companies were analysed for the 2026 ranking. They are assessed on the basis of several criteria such as the proportion of sustainable investments, the proportion of sustainable income and the company’s progress in facing the climate transition. Castellum ranked 56th on this year’s Global 100 list.

“This is confirmation of Castellum’s long-term, business-driven sustainability agenda. Our inclusion on the list shows that our focus on sustainable investments holds true from an international perspective,” says Filip Elland, Chief Sustainability Officer at Castellum.

Castellum’s sustainability programme is integrated throughout its operations, from investments and project development to administration and financing. The company has a target of becoming climate neutral across its value chain by 2040.

The Global 100 was launched in 2005 by Corporate Knights Inc, an independent Canadian media and research company focused on sustainable economics. The ranking is built on a rules-based and transparent analysis of listed companies’ ability to combine profitability with a business where sustainable solutions comprise a key – and growing – element.
