Goobit Group AB (publ), operator of the Swedish crypto exchange BTCX, is participating as host of its own side event at this year's Nordic Blockchain Conference – the Nordics' leading conference for blockchain, crypto and Web3. The Nordic Blockchain Conference (NBC 2026) is the largest blockchain conference in Northern Europe, returning to Stockholm on 26–27 May for its eighth edition. The conference brings together approximately 1,250 attendees.
BTCX's contribution to this year's programme is Bitcoin Afternoon by BTCX – a relaxed afternoon side event at Epicenter in Stockholm on Tuesday 26 May, 13:00–15:00.
The event is hosted by Rebecka Nakamoto, a prominent voice in the Bitcoin community, who guides the audience through a personal and accessible programme focused on Bitcoin from a human and practical perspective.
During the event, BTCX founder Christian Ander is interviewed about the company's journey – from an early-stage startup 15 years ago to an established player in a rapidly evolving industry. The conversation touches on challenges, lessons learned and opportunities ahead, not least in light of new regulation (MiCA) and a maturing market. The programme also includes an all-female panel, where women from different parts of the ecosystem share their perspectives on Bitcoin – from technology and finance to societal impact and the future. The panel aims to broaden the conversation and highlight the diversity of experience and insight within the industry.
