Brighter AB (Publ) today announced it has entered into an agreement with one of the shareholders of Blodtrycksdoktorn AB (formerly known as  Accumbo AB) to sell its entire holdings in Blodtrycksdoktorn AB for SEK 5 million.

Brighter agreed to sell its entire holdings in Blodtrycksdoktorn AB for SEK 5 million, and payment in cash will be made on the closing date,  currently estimated to be 21 December 2021.

During the fall of 2021, the board and management made a strategic evaluation of the Company and decided to streamline its operations to fully focus on its core business of digital solutions for connected and data-driven diabetes care. The sale of the investment  in Blodtrycksdoktorn was part of the decisions made to further support the strategic development.

"I am very pleased that we have now taken another step on the journey towards streamlining our core business. We have succeeded to sell our subsidiary Camanio and now our holdings in Blodtrycksdoktorn. In addition, we continue with our ongoing discussions with stakeholders to sell some or all of our interest in our subsidiary Nectarine Health," said Brighter's chairman of the board Christer Trägårdh.
