Atlas Copco has acquired a German compressed air distributor and service provider

Nacka, Sweden, January 5, 2021: Atlas Copco has acquired the German distributor Kawalek Kompressoren.

Kawalek Kompressoren is a privately owned company and has 10 employees. The company is located in Berlin and has a stable market position in the surrounding region.

"Kawalek Kompressoren has a long history of being a successful distributor and has a strong customer base consisting of many small and medium-sized companies in the region", said Vagner Rego, business area president Compressor Technique. "This acquisition will allow us to stay close to the customers as well as increase our market presence in Berlin and the surrounding area."
The purchase price is not material relative to Atlas Copco's market capitalization and is not disclosed.
The company will become part of the service division within the Compressor Technique business area.
