Petri has written a company report on strong Alma   Alma Media’s Q2 results exceeded our forecasts, driven by strong performance across all business areas. The company’s impressive operational performance provides a solid foundation for robust earnings growth in the coming years. In fact, earnings growth over the next few years will account for a significant portion of the attractive return expectation. In line with this overall picture and the upward revision of our forecasts, we are raising our target price to EUR 16.5 (previously EUR 15.0) and upgrading our recommendation to Buy (previously Accumulate). This is some ice-cold performance. At 17 [Euros/currency unit], you’re getting nearly a 4% dividend yield from a company with excellent return on capital that grows steadily and reasonably, even in a bad market. Earnings, meanwhile, are growing even faster. I don’t know what’s more astonishing, the continuous improvement in margins and earnings performance, or the fact that the CEO is only three years away from retirement!

Here are Petri’s quick comments on this morning’s results   In Q2, Alma Media’s revenue development was slightly better than expected, but due to very strong profitability growth, the result clearly exceeded forecasts. Alma Media has provided guidance for the current year of stable revenue and growth in adjusted operating profit compared to the previous year. After the first half of the year, the company is on a very good track regarding its guidance. Alma Career: Revenue grew by 5.5% and adjusted operating profit grew by 4.9%, driven by strong performance in the Czech market. Alma Marketplaces: Revenue grew by 9.2% and adjusted operating profit grew by 31.1%, with growth continuing across all businesses. Alma News Media: Revenue grew by 1.2% and adjusted operating profit grew by 20.6%, with a record-high margin of 20.0%.  Financial development in January–June 2026:  Revenue 171.0 (162.9) million euros, growth of 4.9%. Digital business share of revenue 86.5% (85.1%). Adjusted operating profit 44.8 (38.3) million euros, growth of 16.9%, 26.2% (23.5%) of revenue. Operating profit 44.5 (36.5) million euros, growth of 22.0%. Adjusted EBITDA 52.3 (47.3) million euros, growth of 10.6%. Earnings per share 0.41 (0.32) euros, growth of 29.9%.
