2025 ESG report emphasises WindowMaster's dedication to responsible ESG reporting
Yesterday, WindowMaster launched the company’s ESG report for 2025 alongside the financial report.
The report reflects WindowMaster's significant progress towards some 2025 milestone targets, demonstrating notable reductions in scope 1 and 2 carbon footprints. Compared with our baseline year of 2019, the reduction reached almost 45%, bringing WindowMaster close to reaching the Science Based Targets (SBTi) set for 2030, which require a reduction of 46%.
2025 has also been an interesting year for following the development of the Omnibus Directive and the future of the EU's ESG reporting regulations. The year ended with the conclusion that WindowMaster is exempt from the mandatory CSRD reporting requirements, which come into effect in 2027. Despite the absence of this obligation, WindowMaster has decided to continue reporting on the company's ESG activities, results, and targets.
'It is a natural decision to continue telling the world about our ESG activities and ambitions, as we are already working with them as part of how we run our business, and that will not change,' says WindowMaster's CEO, Erik Boyter.
