Kempower announced on Tuesday that the company had been selected as one of Allego’s preferred EV charging solutions suppliers. We consider this selection by a leading European charging point operator to be proof of the competitiveness of Kempower's products. Although the economic impact of this partnership is difficult to predict at this time, we believe it will support our forecasts of strong growth in the coming years.
Proof of the competitiveness of Kempower’s products
Kempower has been selected by Allego, a leading charging point operator in Europe, as one of its preferred EV charging solutions suppliers. The initial fast-charging sites in Denmark will go live during Q3’25, using Kempower’s high-power modular DC charging systems. The stations will feature five 600 kW triple Power Units and 30 single Kempower Satellites equipped with 375 A cables.
In the next phase, deployment will be extended to the Nordics, the Benelux and France. The rest of Europe will follow in 2026. The collaboration between Kempower and Allego builds on pilot projects in the Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden that have already been running since 2023.
Collaboration supports our strong growth forecasts
We consider Allego's selection of Kempower as a preferred partner to be a strong demonstration of Kempower's competitiveness, especially since Allego already uses several competing equipment manufacturers. However, based on the press release, it is still difficult to estimate the scale of the contract or the economic impact of the collaboration. We therefore see no need to change our forecasts, but we do believe that the collaboration will support our forecasts of strong growth in the coming years.
