Nurminen Logistics is an industrial group that offers transport and logistics services. The company's services include freight forwarding and freight handling services via rail transport, where the largest market is found in the Nordic and Baltic markets. In addition, customized services for various projects are offered, as well as access to terminal services. The company was founded in 1886 and has its headquarters in Helsinki.

I really focused on listening to Olli’s storytelling and it made me feel good. He speaks like a person who wants his message to be understood. Of course, everyone probably wants that, but I’ve followed many interviews lately that leave you wondering what they were actually trying to get at. There are challenges, but feel free to name a company that doesn’t face headwinds these days. It’s often said that you should only invest in companies whose business you understand. True, Olli’s relaxed and fluent performance helps in understanding it perfectly. I’m not particularly worried about Nurminen’s outlook and I even bought more.

Here are some thoughts on Nurminen from OP’s Kimmo Stenvall.  Nurminen Logistics’ revenue grew by 10% year-on-year in Q4. In the Baltics, revenue fell sharply as expected, but strong growth in the Railway business offset the overall situation. Adjusted EBITA was at the same level as the prior year. A recovery in the share price requires a return to growth, for which the outlook remains very hazy despite the company’s active development work. Outlook is probably the reason? “The Group estimates that revenue and comparable operating profit for the first half of 2026 will be lower than in the comparison period, as the timing of the recovery of the Baltic operations is still uncertain. Additionally, the impact of the investments made to grow the Central European business is estimated to be visible only starting from the second quarter.”

Aapeli has written preview comments as Nurminen releases its Q4 report the day after tomorrow, on Thursday.  We expect the company’s revenue to have grown significantly year-on-year, supported by inorganic growth. We also forecast the company’s result to have grown slightly, in line with the revenue growth. The main points of interest in the report are the guidance provided for the current year as well as more detailed market comments (incl. inorganic growth opportunities).
