Oslo, 8 March 2024 - CFO in XXL ASA, Stein Eriksen, has today informed the
Company that he has accepted a new position as CFO in another company.
Consequently, he will leave XXL this summer, after the Q2 2024 reporting in
July, and XXL will immediately initiate a search for a new CFO.
"I would like to thank my colleagues, the Management team and the Board of
Directors for my years in XXL and for all the opportunities the Company has
given me. XXL is entering another phase, with a strong turnaround plan currently
under execution, and I feel that now is the right time for me to move on. XXL is
a great place to work and I am very impressed by all the effort and passion the
XXL employees are putting in every day. I will continue as an XXL supporter from
the outside", says CFO Stein Eriksen.
CEO Freddy Sobin expresses his gratitude to Stein Eriksen for his hard work and
dedication to XXL over a five-year period

to XXL over many years. During his leadership the Finance department of XXL has
been strengthened, he has been vital in several restructuring and refinancing
activities and also been interim CEO during difficult transitions and under
challenging market conditions. I respect his decision to move on when XXL is
entering a new phase of executing on the transformation and turnaround plan
"Reset & Rethink". We will now secure a robust hand over together and I wish him
the best of luck in his new endeavors", says CEO Freddy Sobin.
XXL will immediately initiate a process to recruit the successor to the CFO
position.
