WicketGaming: Wicket Gaming intends to implement "Play-to-Earn" functionality in Cricket Manager Pro
Wicket Gaming currently has ongoing dialogues with major blockchain technology players. This in order to discuss how Play-to-Earn technology could be implemented in the game and within what time frames this could be done.
A possible extension of the game could be, for example, the release of so-called NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, based on a predefined blockchain technology. These NFTs could be owned and refined by the game's users as they achieve success with their cricket teams and associated players.
In a comment, Wicket Gaming's CEO Eric de Basso says:
"We believe that blockchain technology and Play-to-Earn will be central features in future game development. Our ambition is therefore to be a pioneer in implementing this technology in manager games and thereby contribute to a greater interest and commitment around Cricket Manager Pro."
