Westpay releases the next-generation payment terminal
To meet current and future demands for Integrated Commerce, Westpay has launched the next-generation payment terminal – the C150. This payment device is a wireless so-called pin-on-glass device with a full-sized display and no physical keyboard. It enables far better user experience compared to existing solutions, which leads to even faster payments. This solution is long-awaited, and at launch, Westpay has received orders from several key customers.
There is a rapid evolution within the payment industry. Westpay has a strategic focus on Integrated Commerce, where new payment methods emerge and In-store and eCom payments converge. For In-store payments, the payment terminal is still and will be, for a long time, an essential tool ensuring secure and fast payments compliant with all industry regulations.
Android 12, fast charging, 5-inch touch screen, and PCI 6.x compliance are just a few features that will help anyone looking for a robust and safe payment terminal. Volume deliveries of the new payment terminal will commence in Q2 2023.
