Summa Defence Oyj: Change in Summa Defence's Executive Management Team

Summa Defence Plc announces the following change in its Executive Management Team: Tommi Malinen, currently serving as Chief Sales Officer, will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer of the Group as of October 1, 2025.

This change strengthens the Group's governance and establishes a more unified operating model to support Summa Defence's subsidiaries.

Malinen, who has held senior positions in the Defence Forces and international defence industry, has worked after his officer career as Strategy Director at Valtra Oy, CEO at Kongsberg Defence Oy and Ascom Finland Oy, Sales Director at TietoSaab Systems, and Business Development Director at Elektrobit.

As Malinen transitions to the role of Chief Operating Officer, Sales Manager Leo Vanhatalo has been appointed as the Group's new Sales Director. Vanhatalo, who has had a long career in international sales leadership roles within the defence industry, will report to Tommi Malinen.
