Spinnova operates in the textile industry. The company has developed a production technology for textile fibers, known as SPINNOVA® fiber, which is manufactured using a mechanical production process. In addition to its main business, research and development is conducted in the area, and the company offers service and related peripheral services. The company operates on a global level with headquarters in Jyväskylä.

The ecosystem is indeed growing, but it’s crying out for investors. I would have thought that one of these would have also brought money to the table.

On the brand side, the consortium building indeed seems to be progressing quite nicely, even though no particularly strong commitments have been mentioned in the press releases. Hopefully, by February at the latest, we will receive more information about the overall picture, as well as progress in reducing technology investment and production costs. Next year will, in any case, be very important for the formation of Spinnova’s investor story.
