Nordic Iron is a mining company with the objective of resuming and developing iron ore mining in the Ludvika area. The company's vision is to run projects for the production of ultra-highly enriched iron ore concentrate for the production of fossil-free steel. On their own, or through collaborations, the company intends to make use of the phosphorus and rare earth metals found in the mineralization. Niklas Sternbeck, has extensive experience in underground infrastructure and tunnel projects. He will be responsible for planning and leading the work of implementing the planned ramp driving to get down to the new main level of the planned Blötberg mine. Niklas comes from a role as Project Office Manager at Veidekke Entreprenad and has a bachelor degree in mining and geotechnical engineering from the Mining School in Filipstad.</strong></p></div><div class="mfn-body"><p>"It feels very exciting to welcome Niklas, who is from Ludvika, to Nordic Iron Ore to lead the work of planning and operating the ramp down to the continued ore body in Blötberget so that we can eventually produce an ultra-highly enriched iron ore concentrate for the green steel production" says Ronne Hamerslag, CEO of Nordic Iron Ore.
