The product range is primarily focused on the transport and distribution of air, as well as on fire and smoke protection in the ventilation system. Lindab also offers a product offering for roofs, walls and roof drainage. The company operates in Europe and its customers are primarily ventilation installers and sheet metal workers. <div class="abstract"><p>In September 2021, Lindab signed an agreement for the divestment of Business Area Building Systems, which is Lindab's division for steel buildings sold under the Astron brand. The change of ownership took place at the end of the year and the business area is no longer part of Lindab Group.</p></div><p>In 2020, Astron's sales amounted to SEK 946 million with an adjusted operating margin of 5.9 percent. The business area employed 692 people at the end of 2020.</p><p>The divestment decision and agreement resulted in Building Systems being reported as asset held for sale/discontinued operations from the end of the third quarter 2021. The change of ownership took place in the period 28-31 December 2021 and business area Building Systems is no longer part of Lindab Group.</p><p>The final effect related to the divestment will be reported in the annual statement that is published on 11 February 2022. The one-off items and res­tructuring costs are mainly not affecting cash flow.</p>
