Kjartan Jensen announces that he aims to find a new CEO to run Dataproces forward on. Kjartan will continue in Dataproces, but in a customer-facing role once a new CEO has been found.

The Board of Dataproces has just received Kjartan Jensen's decision that he wants a new CEO to be found, to run Dataproces forward on. Kjartan will continue to hold the position as CEO of Dataproces until a good replacement is found. Kjartan instead wants to dedicate his efforts to a more customer-facing function in Dataproces.
Kjartan Jensen, co-founder and managing director of Dataproces, wants to pass on the baton as CEO, thereby strengthening Dataproces' top management and ensuring the continued development from an entrepreneurial company to a strategy-driven growth company. Kjartan Jensen is passionate about Dataproces' success, and his decision is due to the recognition that Dataproces has a different need than what his CEO profile can provide:
"It has been a fantastic journey to be the head of Dataproces and to experience the development the company has gone through. But it is also my responsibility to constantly evaluate the team, which also includes self-evaluation. Here it is clear to me that Dataproces needs a different CEO profile than mine. At the same time, I can create greater value for Dataproces in purely customer-facing work.''
Kjartan Jensen will thus continue to be part of the team, but in a different role, with a focus on the customer-oriented sales work, which is also what drives him:
"My drive has always been to see Dataproces grow, and to see and hear about the difference our products and work make for our customers. Working with the management of Dataproces has been exciting and challenging, but that is not where I get my energy, I get it from the customer and from a growing Dataproces. Therefore, for me, sales work is the most direct source of energy"
"I have no plans to step down from Dataproces. Going forward, I will direct my focus towards ensuring our continued growth through new customers, as well as retaining existing customers in the markets Dataproces operates in. My belief in Dataproces' strategy and growth potential also means, of course, that I will continue to be a major shareholder in the company."
Chairman of the board HC Maarup states:
''The Board regrets Kjartan Jensen's decision. Kjartan has made a huge effort for Dataproces, but we of course respect the decision and will constructively start the work of finding a qualified successor for the position of director. We welcome Kjartan's continued commitment and see his decision as a natural consequence of the transition from entrepreneur to developer and growth promoter.''
