Gigante Salmon has achieved certification under the GlobalGAP standard, a
significant milestone for the company and a confirmation that its production
meets the requirements of the international standard for good agricultural and
aquaculture practices. The company is pleased with this recognition, which is
the result of systematic and targeted efforts by skilled employees.
GlobalGAP ensures sustainable food production with a strong focus on food
safety, environmental protection, animal welfare, and the health and safety of
workers.
The company commenced production in 2024, and the first fish is scheduled for
harvest in the second quarter, with a total volume of approximately 550 tons
HOG.
Gigante Salmon continues its work on optimizing operations and biological
conditions to ensure good fish welfare and efficient production.
