Since 2011, Maria Veerasamy has served as the CEO of Svenskt Tenn.</div>Maria Veerasamy has extensive experience in trade and crafts. Before she took over as CEO of Svenskt Tenn, she worked for over 20 years within Indiska, including the position as Vice CEO. With a background as a tailor and several years of experience from Sandvik's glassworks, Veerasamy has seamlessly integrated her eye for details and a passion for craftsmanship into her ongoing work.Under Maria Veerasamy's leadership, Svenskt Tenn has achieved significant financial growth, with revenue increasing from 172 million SEK to 421 million SEK. International sales have increased sharply and the digital footprint has been strengthened.Maria Veerasamy is a Board member of Beckmans Akademi Aktiebolag and Beckmans Skola Aktiebolag. She has previously held the position of chairman of Board of Directors at Aktiebolaget Textilatelier Licium and Malmstensbutiken AB, and also served as a Board member at Artipelag AB and Rodebjer Form AB."With her long operational experience from leading positions in craftsmanship, interior design and profitable long-term brand building, Maria Veerasamy will strengthen the board's combined experience and expertise in several key areas," says Peter Lindell, chairman of the Nomination Committee in a comment.In addition to Maria Veerasamy, the nomination committee proposes the re-election of current board members. Magnus Welander is proposed to be re-elected as chairman of the Board and Henrik Nyqvist, Christina Ståhl and Karin Dennford as members.The Annual General Meeting will be held on May 8, 2024.
