D. Carnegie & Co changes name to Hembla
- The word "hem" means "home" in Swedish. The home is a special and important place. It is where children grow up, where music is played too loud and where birthdays are celebrated. It is also a place where one should feel safe and comfortable. A home is more than what exists between four walls. It includes the entire neighbourhood where one lives, which is precisely our focus and our vision - to offer our tenants the opportunity to live in good homes in attractive neighbourhoods, says Svein Erik Lilleland, CEO at D. Carnegie & Co.
He continues:
- The idea of a name change has grown gradually, and it is a natural step in our company development. Our tenants and their homes are our main priority. The new name clarifies this orientation, both to our tenants and to other stakeholders. Hembla is an accurate summary of our trade mark promise.
