Cinis Fertilizer has sent another shipload of premium quality water soluble potassium sulfate to Van Iperen International. The cargo amounts to about 3,200 tons and was sent south with the same vessel that delivered input materials, an important step in the optimization of the company's logistics flow.

The production ramp-up at Cinis Fertilizer's facility in Köpmanholmen continues and now another shipload of water-soluble potassium sulfate has been left port. The entire cargo, about 3,200 tons, exceeds the highest quality requirements for water-soluble potassium sulfate.

The delivery was sent with the same vessel that arrived earlier this week with one of the company's inputs, which is an important step in the company's work to optimize the logistics flow. By using the same vessels that deliver inputs to ship the potassium sulfate, both transport costs and environmental impact are reduced. As production increases, Cinis expects to be able to optimize deliveries in this way to a greater extent.

"Delivering our potassium sulfate by turning around the same vessel has been the plan since the beginning, so it feels good that we have now reached a point where we can test this logistics flow in practice," says Jakob Liedberg, CEO of Cinis Fertilizer.

"This is good both from a cost and environmental perspective. We constantly strive to optimize our operations in this way," says Jakob Liedberg.

The plan to reach a production rate of 100,000 annual tones at the beginning of 2025 remains.
