Caroline Leksell Cooke is planning to leave her current position as member of the Board of Directors, upon taking this new role.

Leksell Cooke has been a dedicated member of the Board since 2017. She has extensive global experience in the software sector, with various positions in Google and, most recently, founded her own company focusing on digital transformation.

“I am delighted that Caroline Leksell Cooke will take on an operational role within Elekta. Her leadership will drive our neuro business forward and enhance our global customer relationships,” said Gustaf Salford, CEO and President. “In recent years, Caroline has played an integral part in developing Elekta as a Board member, and she has been instrumental in representing our neuro business across the globe. Following a comprehensive internal and external recruitment process, she emerged as the ideal candidate to lead this crucial segment of our business.”

Caroline Leksell Cooke added: “I look forward to continuing to advance the neuro solutions that Elekta is renowned for. Over the past seven years, within the Board of Directors, as well as my long international career within the software industry, I have gained invaluable insights and experiences that I will carry with me into my new role.
