Beijer Tech has today, March 6, 2025, acquired 100 percent of the shares in Swemas AB, a Swedish company that offers consumables and spare parts as well as service of crushers for the stone and gravel industry.

Swemas is a well-invested industrial company that supplies and manufactures consumables and spare parts for stone crushers. The company also repairs and refurbishes crushers at its facility in Ludvika, Sweden. Swemas has a strong position in a niche market and is known for always offering its customers technical support and a full range of consumables and spare parts. The company is based in Ludvika and has 40 employees and sales of about SEK 200 million with favorable profitability. A considerable share of the company’s sales are exports, primarily to the other Nordic countries and northern Europe. For further information, please visit the company’s website: www.swemas.com.

The acquisition is in line with Beijer Alma’s model for value-adding acquisitions and Beijer Tech’s strategy of acquiring profitable companies in attractive niches with good growth potential and high value-add.

Beijer Tech’s President, Staffan Johansson, comments on the transaction: “Swemas is a well-run company with extensive in-house expertise and an attractive exposure to future infrastructure investments. With its modern facility and technical know-how, the company is well equipped to meet the future needs of the stone and gravel industry. We are pleased to welcome the company and its employees to Beijer Tech and look forward to being part of its continued growth journey.”

The two previous co-owners, Johan Andersson and Fredrik Andersson, will remain active in the company. They also commented on the transaction: "We are thankful and proud of the company that our family and employees have built since the 1980s. It is a pleasure to now welcome Beijer Tech as the new, long-term owner of Swemas. We are convinced that this will strengthen the company in the long term.”

Through the transaction, Beijer Tech acquires 100 percent of the shares in Swemas AB and its associated property company, Åminne Fastighets AB, with closing taking place today. The company will be part of Beijer Tech’s Industrial Products business area. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Beijer Alma’s earnings per share.
