Staten og Kommunernes Indkøbsservice (SKI), the largest public procurement
agency in Denmark, has today awarded the SKI 50.03 frame agreement for servers
and storage. Atea is one of four IT infrastructure suppliers which has been
awarded the contract.
The term of the agreement is two years, with a possible extension of an
additional two years. During the term of the frame agreement, public sector
customers may purchase up to DKK 3.7 billion across all suppliers.
The new frame agreement will replace a previous frame agreement which expired in
May 2023. The previous SKI 50.03 frame agreement for servers and storage has not
been running since its expiry last year. Atea was one of four vendors on the
prior frame agreement.
"We are very pleased that Atea has been awarded the new SKI 50.03 frame
agreement. We look forward to commencing sales of servers and storage to the
public sector on this new agreement," commented Atea CEO Steinar Sønsteby.
The award of the SKI 50.03 frame agreement is subject to appeal from other
participants in the tendering process. The deadline for appeals is February
5[th]. Assuming that there are no delays from a potential appeal, sales under
the agreement will begin in February.
