This will further strengthen the company's medical wire manufacturing capacity.</div>The new production facility will enable Alleima to capture opportunities from the growing demand in the region by increased capacity and improved manufacturing flexibility, staying close to customers. Site preparations will start at the end of 2024, with first commercial deliveries in 2026.Penang, Malaysia, is a growing Asian hub for medical companies. Furthermore, the Asian region is the fastest growing market for medical devices in the world because of its aging population, adoption of advanced medical technologies and other economic growth drivers."This footprint expansion in Asia will be an important foundation to support our long-term strategy to grow our medical business.
