4C Group AB strengthens U.S. subsidiary Board with appointment of two senior retired U.S. military officers to support North American growth
4C Group AB (publ), a leading provider of software for military training and readiness management, announces the appointment of two new board members to its US entity 4C North America Inc.
Joining the Board are two highly decorated and respected U.S. military leaders:
- General (Ret.) Daniel R. Hokanson, former Chief of the National Guard Bureau and member of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff.
- Lieutenant General (Ret.) Patrick E. Matlock, former Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Plans, and Training (G-3/5/7) for the U.S. Army.
Both bring extensive experience from decades of service in U.S. and allied defense operations, training, and strategic leadership, directly relevant to 4C’s core mission of delivering cutting-edge training readiness and resilience solutions to defense customers globally.

With these appointments, current board member Tim Solms assumes the role of Chairman of the Board for 4C North America Inc., with Jim Smith remaining as a board member.
4C North America Inc. operates under applicable U.S. national security regulations, including FOCI (Foreign Ownership,
Control or Influence) mitigation measures and Facility Security Clearance (FCL), enabling full compliance with U.S. defense contracting requirements.
These Board appointments represent another important step in 4C’s long-term growth strategy to expand its U.S. presence and further support allied defense organizations globally with advanced readiness and resilience capabilities.
