Following the above acquisitions, Evolution’s holding of own shares amounted to 4,260,780 as of 7 November 2025. The total number of shares in Evolution is 204,462,162  It will presumably be pushed below 200 million shares with this week’s purchases (if all shares held by the company were immediately cancelled).

Apparently, the questions were submitted already in September, followed by a very long period of radio silence. Here are some highlights: • Competitive Advantage: Evolution’s management sees the company’s advantage based on the quality of execution and continuous innovation, rather than structural barriers. The biggest threat is complacency killing development. • Competitors: Evolution does not compete with traditional brick-and-mortar casinos; its true competitive landscape is seen as a broader entertainment ecosystem (e.g., Netflix, TikTok). • Grey/Unregulated Market: This was discussed, and it was stated that they are not responsible for who plays. • Strategic Focus: The company intends to remain a pure B2B content provider. Transitioning to B2C casinos or sports betting is not on the agenda. And this was probably not expected? • Communication: Evolution is establishing a new communications department with the goal of improving its public standing. This is hopefully positive.  Linton reaffirmed Evolution’s framework of balancing dividends and buybacks to suit >shareholder preferences

Ice Fishing indeed excels in its fast pace, and it doesn’t feature a host, interactive bonus games, or a too confusing first impression. Quite a functional concept, although perhaps boring. However, games of this style are suitable for a lunch break, on the bus, or during lectures (..with Asian students as the target group?) Q4 Asia growth, let’s go! Currently in Evo’s lobby, glimpsed through Veikkaus’s pages:  Crazy Time is being played by 13,000 players Ice Fishing by 1,450 players, so this is indeed no new flagship game, but you’ll lose your money quite quickly while fishing, even without Rapala.  No one can probably say whether the ‘most valuable players’ for Evolution play these simple and fast games more, compared to Monopoly, ball race, or traditional Live table games? Things aren’t quite so black and white, are they? As there are different kinds of wealthy players, and they even play in different moods. Hopefully, this kind of data could be analyzed more effectively in Martin’s camp than by competitors, so the flag would stay high and the rod slippery.

Good if so, in my opinion, Ice Fishing is unfortunately really boring, and it’s hard to see it becoming any kind of success story. The fast pace is good, but that’s where it ends. The game feels unnecessarily “difficult” because bonus sectors are so rare, and the different bonuses (3 of them) are practically completely identical experiences – only their value is different. The direction itself is, in my opinion, correct, meaning the aim to speed up the tempo of Game Show games. Then we just need to come up with some more entertaining elements for them, so that people would want to return to play them even after the first try.

A new fast-paced game, “Ice Fishing” style, designed for the TikTok generation, is coming. Apparently, Ice Fishing has worked quite well, so it doesn’t hurt that more similar games are coming with a slightly different theme and style. Interesting, it makes one curious about Mr. Dart’s thoughts and reasoning behind his continued buying.

EVO has now updated its owners on its pages as of September. Capital Group has continued to reduce its holdings, and the Norwegians have either sold off their entire position or reduced their ownership as they have dropped out of the TOP-10.
